Arizona-based developer Michael Meldman is partnering with New York developers Bryan and David Becker to build on a 450-acre swath in Southampton — the last undeveloped lot for residential or mixed-use in the Quogue vicinity, the New York Post reported.
The site will have a minimum of 80 homes slated to be listed between $3 million and $4 million. Located near an airport, the development could attract West Coast residents out east in large numbers for the first time, the Post said.
The project will also include restaurants and a golf course.
Meldman heads Discovery Land Company, which shelled out $17 million for the land. The Becker brothers had owned it since 2005, when they paid $21 million for it. [NYP, 5th item] –Zachary Kussin
