Six LCOR Real Estate employees are cashing in on a winning Powerball ticket.
Colleagues Kevin Guerrero, Larry Roiter, Stefano Mattelini, Guy Sicurella, Joseph Curran and William Hann, who picked the winning numbers, will split the $1 million prize, netting each person around $110,000 each after taxes.
“It’s more than enough,” Guerrero told the New York Daily News. “It’s more than I expected. Any winning is nice.”
LCOR, which is currently shopping for a leasehold at 545 Madison Avenue and completed a conversion at 25 Broad Street after Kent Swig’s conversion attempt fell through, was almost entirely purchased by the California State Teacher’s Retirement System in May 2012. The fund paid $820 million for a 90 percent stake. [NYDN] — Julie Strickland
