The website 212areacode.com is offering wannabe Manhattanites from across the country a faux NYC phone number, with a price tag that ranges from $100 to an astounding $15,000, according to the New York Post.
The company allows buyers pick from dozens of available 212 phone numbers, and pay online via PayPal. Easy to remember phone numbers with more zeros tend to cost more than harder-to-remember numbers.
