Unit 29QR at the Century
A pair of condos on the 29th floor of the north tower of the Century building at 25 Central Park West have sold for $14 million. The units were marketed together so that the new owner can assemble a full-floor apartment.
The rare opportunity for opportunity to acquire a full floor at the Century, along with 2,962 square feet of interior space and park frontage, led to a bidding war that quickly pushed the units well above the orginal asking price of $12.5 million, according to the New York Times.
The aggregate monthly carrying charges for units, which will be combined into a nine-room residence, No. 29QR, are $7,707.
